Rastislav ŠutekExecutive Director
Rastislav is the founder of the Platform with practical experience working for several mechanisms of international criminal justice, experience with litigation of international protection cases and experience working for several human rights NGOs. He has done extensive research in the area of public international law and international humanitarian law. Rastislav’s areas of interest include: international courts, technology and law, armed conflicts, Central and Eastern European history.
Carlota is a certified lawyer in Spain where she currently works as criminal and litigation lawyer. She holds a Dual Master’s Degree in International Law and Legal Practice. Her professional experience has developed in several international tribunals such as the International Criminal Court, the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia and the Kosovo Specialist Chambers. She had previously clerked at the Permanent Mission of Spain to the United Nations in New York and at the Criminal Law Division of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Her research is mostly oriented towards universal jurisdiction, the rule of law and international crimes.

Filip is a doctoral candidate in the field of political geography and his research focuses on the spatial aspects of the Slovak foreign policy from a quantitative perspective. Filip’s areas of interest include: geopolitics, international relations, diplomacy and conflicts.
Ambre KaroutsosProject Coordinator
Ambre holds a Master’s degree in security and terrorism from the University of Kent. She volunteered in several humanitarian and environmental organizations and she is presently pursuing a Master’s degree in political science at the University of Amsterdam. Ambre’s areas of interest include: European Union, cybersecurity, international relations.

Aakash serves as a consulting editor of the Indian Journal of Law and Public Policy (IJLPP). Isys is currently working for the Basel Institute on Governance, which she joined in September 2021 as a junior legal researcher with the International Centre for Asset Recovery (ICAR). Prior to joining the Institute, Isys worked for the International Institute of Humanitarian Law and volunteered for TRIAL International including by supporting the development of the Trial Watch database and the publication of the Universal Jurisdiction Annual Review (UJAR). Isys holds a Master degree in International Security, Defence and Competitive Intelligence, as well as a university degree in international humanitarian law from the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Nice. Isys prepares the Peace and Security section of the Weekly News Recap as well as engages in advocacy for full compliance with norms of international la law and advocacy for the establishment of a Special court in Kurdistan to prosecute the fighters of the so-called Islamic State.

Pamela holds a Master’s degree in International Peace and Security Studies from Korea University. Prior to her graduate studies, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and international relations at Universidad Casa Grande in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Her research is mostly oriented towards human security and the protection of human rights in conflict areas, focusing on gender based violence, women’s rights and health. She previously worked as Executive Assistant of International Cooperation at the Embassy of the Republic of Ecuador in Korea and as International Relations Coordinator at Universidad Casa Grande. She currently works as the main International Politics lecturer at Universidad Casa Grande, teaching basic international relations theory, war theory, development, cooperation, and other current political issues.
