I joined Platform for Peace and Humanity in 2021. As a peace and security researcher, I joined the Peace and Security Monitor program. I have participated in publishing a number of brief reports and analyzes on a number of topics related to the Middle East and Egypt.
Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in International Law from the University of Ain Shams, Cairo, Egypt. He served in several legal and public entities including UNICEF Egypt, the Egyptian Parliament, the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia and the Human Rights Committee at the Egyptian Bar. Ahmed has founded Law for Peace organization, which aims to make peace by spreading awareness of the role of law and peaceful interfaith dialogue. Ahmed’s areas of interest include the Middle East studies and the rule of law in international affairs.
