Programme Coordinator / Researcher, Central Asia / South East Europe & Black Sea Region
Amir joined South East Europe Black Sea region program as researcher in May 2022, and started his position as Central Asia program coordinator in July 2022 .
Amir has contributed to South East Europe & Black Sea region Peace & Security Monitor (Issue 4) with an article titled “Russia-Ukraine War and Future Foreign Investment Disputes Against Russia: Case Study of Turkey and Ukraine.”
Amir holds a Master degree in Advanced Studies of International Dispute Settlement and Arbitration from Leiden University and two additional masters in international law from the University of Amsterdam and Shahid Beheshti University.
He served as a Legal Researcher in the Arbitration Center of Iran Chamber and as a Legal Associate in Rasa Law Firm in Tehran. His areas of interest include: International Trade and Investment Law, International Arbitration, Public International Law, and Interdisciplinary Studies of Law and Economic.
