
Chris Fitzgerald
Project Coordinator, The Peace and Security Monitor (Central Asia programme)
Chris Fitzgerald joined the Central Asia Programme team in August 2022.
Chris holds a Master of Public Policy and Master of Laws from Flinders University, with a focus on policy development, human rights, international law and international relations. Chris has worked on advocacy and strategy for disability and child rights for an Afghanistan-based NGO, a Senior Correspondent and Analyst for not-for-profits writing on international politics, human rights and humanitarian crises, and as a Freelance Journalist. Currently, he works as a civil servant working to improve the rights of people with disability in-line with Australia’s obligations under international law.
