Daniel Colm

Daniel joined the Central Asia Programme in May 2023.

Daniel holds a BA in Modern and Medieval Languages (Russian & German) from the University of Cambridge. In 2023 he completed the IMCEERES Eurasian regional studies double-degree MA, focusing on anthropology and international relations.  During this time, he completed qualitative research with Kazakhstan’s Uyghurs, investigating their self-identification, acculturation strategies, and cross border relations with Xinjiang. Recently he has worked with NGOs to form participant-led reports on social cohesion and humanitarian need in eastern Ukraine.
