
Filip Šandor
Programme Director, The Mediterranean Region Programme
Filip joined Platform in December 2020. He started working as a volunteer on the Weekly News Recap. In April 2021, Filip co-founded the Peace & Security Monitor and has contributed to it with four articles. Since the April 2021, he is coordinating, reviewing and editing the Monitor with eight successfully published issues of Peace & Security Monitors including more than 60 articles.
Filip is a doctoral candidate in political geography at Comenius University in Bratislava. His research focuses on the spatial aspects of the Slovak foreign policy from a quantitative perspective. He previously worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, for Permanent Representation of the Slovak Republic to the EU and forthe European External Action Service.
