
Nadine Alaa Eldin Abdelrahman Ahmed
Researcher, The Mediterranean Region Programme
Nadine joined as a Researcher in the Peace and Security Monitor – Challenges in the Mediterranean Region in January 2022 and has been active ever since. In her role, Nadine has contributed to the monitor by conducting both brief reports and research papers on various topics, including women’s rights, climate security, geopolitics, political economy and democracy.
Nadine holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Political Science from the American University in Cairo, specializing in International Relations and International Law, with a minor in Economics and Psychology.
Nadine has attained professional experience in the context of NGOs, think-tanks and government ministries. She has previously worked as an International Law Legal Researcher as well as a Trainee in Corporate Governance and in the unit of Climate, Security and Development. Nadine has also taken part in the coordination and preparation of local forums
