This event, in a series exploring the impacts of war in Ukraine on arms trade and militarism more globally, examines the actions and dilemmas faced by countries in South East Europe and the Black Sea Region. This event, co-hosted by Platform for Peace and Humanity and the Forum on the Arms Trade’s Emerging Expert Program, seeks to bring perspectives from younger professionals into the conversation about the humanitarian, economic and other implications of arms transfers, security assistance, and weapons use.
