
Stathis Giannidakis
Researcher, South East Europe and Black Sea Region
Stathis joined the Southeast Europe and Black Sea Region Project in 2022 in X. Stathis has contributed to the “The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: current state of affairs (forthcoming Aug 22).
Stathis holds an LL.B. from the University of Athens and a Minor in Sociology from the American College of Greece (Stavros Niarchos Foundation Scholarship).
He currently pursues an LL.M. in Public International Law at Leiden University. His research focuses on international environmental law and state’s responsibility for internationally wrongful acts.
Stathis has worked at the Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU, at the Kalshoven Giekses Forum’s International Humanitarian Law Clinic, and was a Student Assistant at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies. During his military service, he was positioned at the Hellenic Naval Station of Kos.
He speaks English, Greek, French, and German.
