Victor Calero joined the Ukraine Programme on 5 September 2022.

Victor is an Ecuadorian lawyer specializing in human rights with a Master’s degree from Universidad de las Americas. Victor has interned at several national law firms, the Lawyers in Palestine Program, and the Clooney Foundation for Justice – The Docket, where he contributed to the investigation of crimes against humanity in the Americas and the MENA region. Additionally, he has worked as an intern and assistant at the Organization of American States – CICAD, where he supported the Supply Reduction Unit, and at national criminal courts.
