Position Overview:
The Platform for Peace and Humanity (PPH) is currently seeking a volunteer Project Coordinator (Peace Education) to work under the Mediterranean Programme.
PPH engages in advocacy for sustainable peace education and human development as part of its mandate to promote, advance, and achieve sustainable international peace.
In its engagement towards sustainable peace and social justice, PPH conducts research and policy analysis informed by local context, and mobilises stakeholders to build coalitions for positive change. Sustainable Peace Education is a core focus area for the Mediterranean Programme. The Project Coordinator for Peace Education will support the design and implementation of projects that integrate factors that promote sustainable peace in the education and youth sector in the Mediterranean region informed by the needs identified at the local level.
The volunteer will engage in research and analysis on sustainable peace education related-issues in the Mediterranean region, outreach and engagement, and project design and coordination. The role combines analytical, operational and administrative tasks to support project development and implementation.

This is a voluntary, unpaid role and is ideal for early-career professionals in graphics design, with a strong interest in human rights, international peace and security and/or social justice. Applicants should take a keen interest in the vision and objectives of the Platform.
