Juan Carlos holds a bachelor degree in international relations from Loyola University (Seville, Spain) and a Master’s degree in Comparative Middle Eastern Politics and Societies from Universität Tübingen in Germany. He has gained experience researching on a variety of issues, with a special focus on geopolitics, security and migration flows at Oxfam Intermon (Seville, Spain) and JRS (Malta), as well as on digital platforms such as Fair Observer, The Geopolitics or Geopol21. His professional experience has also developed in various positions and projects at the European Solidarity Corps, with a short tenure in Budapest (Hungary) and a long tenure in Padova (Italy). He has experience with the implementation of European Union projects in multicultural environments.
