Richard is a conflict transformation and peacebuilding specialist with 20 years of experience in conflict transformation and peacebuilding, conflict sensitivity, community dialogue, and fragility assessment in conflict-affected settings worldwide. His expertise in developing evidence-based approaches to complex problems has been applied implementing research and peacebuilding programming across Afghanistan, Ukraine, Libya, Nepal, and numerous other contexts. Richard holds a PhD in Post-war Recovery Studies from the University of York, a Master of Research in International Development from the University of Bath, and an MA in Economics from the University of Glasgow.
