Foreign fighters in Ukraine

The final webinar in the series explores the roles and motivation of foreign fighters joining the ranks of parties to the conflict in Ukraine. The webinar discusses the perspective of the home State of foreign fighters and various approaches of home States to their citizens travelling to Ukraine for combat purposes as well as the perspective of reintegration after the conflict and radicalization threats. Finally, the webinar approaches the theme of foreign fighters in Ukraine from the legal perspective to analyse the legal status of these fighters and their responsibility under domestic and international laws for conduct related to hostilities in Ukraine.
