Claire is a development economist currently completing her PhD at the University of Groningen, Netherlands, where her research aims at designing and evaluating a women’s empowerment intervention in partnership with a microfinance organization in Vietnam. She has over five years of experience designing, implementing, and evaluating programs focused on human development, particularly gender equity, inclusive health systems, and rural livelihoods, in low-resource settings across Asia and Africa. Claire has collaborated with governments, multilateral agencies, NGOs, and donors, and has worked extensively in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, Myanmar, and Thailand. She is passionate about translating rigorous evidence into practical program and policy implications and making knowledge accessible to diverse audiences.
