Emma joined the Platform in May 2024 as a researcher with the South East Europe and Black Sea Region Programme.

She is now a Project Coordinator on the Platform’s Weekly News Recap for the Peace and Security section.

Emma holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Justice and a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) in Law and Criminology from Maynooth University. Her master’s dissertation examined the powers of the United Nations Security Council in relation to the use of force and the resolution of international conflicts. She has research experience in Public International Law, International Humanitarian Law, and International Human Rights Law, with a particular focus on peace and security, armed conflict, and conflict resolution.
