Johanna joined the Platform for Peace and Humanity in August 2025 as an HR Officer

Johanna recently was a Program Operations Specialist at the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) at USAID, on the Workforce Planning Team, within the Office of Humanitarian Business Management and Operations. In this position, she supported 1700+ positions globally for the Bureau, and also served as the Administrative Coordinator on two emergency response activations (Afghanistan and Levant, 2024). Prior to BHA, Johanna was a Project Manager on two USAID-funded Global Health projects and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Namibia from 2013 to 2016.
