Kelly Demjanick joined the Platform in 2020. Kelly has worked as an editor for the Weekly News Recap and the Blog. She is also a member of the Management Board.

Kelly is a legal professional, who has worked in several legal environments internationally and in her home jurisdiction (United States). This includes working for international tribunals, a governmental agency, a non-profit and a corporate firm. She also holds her law license for the State of New York. She received her Juris Doctorate from New England Law (2015), her LLM in International Comparative Law from Trinity College Dublin (2017), as well as a master’s degree in International Affairs from the American University of Paris. (2019). Her research areas include the environment and human rights, and she has written two theses within these areas including the right to water, and transitional justice and the role of victims’ rights. She was awarded funding from the Schaffer Foundation for her work on transitional justice with the American University of Paris.
