Lilly Riedel

Lilly Riedel joined the Platform for Peace and Humanity in 2025 as a Researcher for the South East Europe and Black Sea Region Programme.

Lilly Riedel holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Mannheim and an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Otto-von-Guericke-University of Magdeburg. Having worked with a range of organizations on radicalisation and extremism research and education for violence prevention in Germany, the Netherlands, and Bosnia, Lilly currently leads a project on the social reintegration of young offenders and designs and delivers pedagogical interventions for that target group at Rückenwind e.V. Schönebeck, an NGO that focuses on community-level social work and youth support in Germany.
