Philippa Sackett joined the Platform’s Central Asia Programme as a Researcher/Analyst in November 2025.
Philippa holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights from the University of London and brings to the Platform twenty years of professional experience focused on promoting a rights–based approach to humanitarian assistance. An Australian national, Philippa has worked for civil society organisations across Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, including in highly complex contexts such Afghanistan, DR Congo, and the Sahel. She has managed projects and programmes across the humanitarian-development-peace nexus, from emergency response interventions to activities aimed at improving food security, securing the right to health and education, and building social cohesion.
