Yurii joined the Platform team in January 2025 as the Representative for Interaction with the Ukrainian Community.

Yurii graduated from the Faculty of International Economics and Law of Kyiv National Economic University in 2000 and presently works at the City Hall of Ostrava in the support programme for people with temporary protection. Yurii previously worked for refugee support programmes at the Refugee Facilities Administration of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, UNICEF and IOM.
