Yurii Naumchuk joined the Platform for Peace and Humanity in January 2025 and serves as the Outreach Officer and Representative for Interaction with the Ukrainian Community in the Czech Republic. In this capacity, he facilitates vital engagement between the organisation and Ukrainians affected by the conflict who are currently residing in the Czech Republic. Yurii actively coordinates community initiatives and strategic dialogues, including bridging refugee support specialists with the Platform’s leadership to develop comprehensive and effective humanitarian support strategies.
Yurii graduated from the Faculty of International Economics and Law at Kyiv National Economic University in 2000. He presently works with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) within the “Bridges to Integration” (Mosty k integraci) project, focusing on comprehensive assistance for displaced persons. His extensive professional experience in humanitarian aid includes previous roles within refugee support programmes at the City Hall of Ostrava, the Regional Assistance Centre for Ukraine (KACPU), the Refugee Facilities Administration of the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic and UNICEF.
